Display Case Responsibilities for the SCE Staff

November 2012 Debra Davis

December 2012 Jacquina Sowell

January 2013 Michelle King

February 2013 Maurina Powers

March 2013 Minnie Jackson

April 2013 AritEdna Ekpro

May 2013 Franklin Smith

June 2013 Jacquina Sowell

July 2013 Debra Davis

If you are responsible for the display you “May” decorate the Brown Board area (over the YA collection) and the center aisle of the building as desired but you “Must” decorate the display case.

Please, think about your display before your turn to present. Staff members can trade months with the Manager’s approval. No one is asked to do more than their creativity will allow them to conceive. No items need to be purchased only library materials are expected to be used. Staff members can assist each other if desired. The goal is to keep the display case fresh with new themes monthly.

Please, remove your displays promptly at the end of each month so that the new displays can be done by the 1st of each month.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter,

Maurina

Adult Collection Shifting Assignments

Hello Everyone,

As per our Staff Meeting, shifting the Adult Collection can be done on any day that we open late to the public so as not to interrupt our daily operations. Please, work with your assigned partners to shift the books.

When we all work together Great Things Happen J the Juvenile and YA Collections look Outstanding and are standing tall due to all of your hard work and I appreciate the extra care you all have taken since we lost our Library Assistant P/T that shelved that area.

The assigned shifting teams and areas are as follows:

Teams
Areas to be Shifted
Maurina Powers
10-B & 11-A
Jacquina Sowell/ Franklin Smith
11-B & 12-A/B
AritEdna Ekpro/Michelle King
13-A/B & 14-A/B
Debra Davis/ Minnie Jackson
15-A/B & 16-A/B

Everyone will shift the Adult Fiction as well; however it will be done after the non-fiction collection is completed.

Thank you for your time and consideration in these matters,

Maurina
